Dolphin Discovery....Fun for the whole family. Get up close with the dolphins, share a kiss and a hug. Suitable for ages 4 and up.

Yal-ku Lagoon. Well worth the short trip from Playa. Feel like you are swimming in an aquarium with a variety of fish. Enjoy the aqua pond adorned with sculptures of mermaids.

Xaman Ha Aviary is about a 10 minutes walk along winding trails. All kinds of birds including toucans and flamingos. They're not shy so bring your camera!

Xcaret is located just south of Playa. A Mayan ecological park where swimming with the dolphins is a popular attraction.

Cedam Museum located just 20 minutes douth of Playa showcases the collection of Peurto Aventuras an adventurere who helped the shipwrecked contents off of the Mexican coasts. Don't miss the stingrays and manatees in the pool next to the museum.

Akumal and surrounding areas will keep you busy. Be sure to visit the magnificent Mayan Ruins.

Peurto Morelos is a great laid back town with cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture and fabulour restaurants and small cafes. About 17 miles south of Cancun.

Discovery Jungle Park is not recommended for wimps, anyone afraid of heights or those opposed to getting hot, sweaty and dirty.

Xel-Ha. Located just south of Playa. Water activities as well as tours about the regions natural history and Mayan culture. You will be stunned by it's beauty.

Tulum. Take a drive south to the Mayan ruins for a fasinating glimpse of an ancient culture.

Punta Venado is just fifteen minutes south of Playa and offers an amazing white sandy beach with horseback riding.
